I was wondering what to write about today when I opened the paper and saw a letter I recently wrote to the editor concerning our infamous governor, Greg Gianforte. I’m hoping that the Bozeman Chronicle keeps my address and phone number confidential. Given that the Montana Attorney General recently dispatched a Montana State trooper to intervene in a private dispute at a hospital between a patient who wanted to be treated with Ivermectin and the attending physicians who refused, I can only imagine what might happen now that I’ve taken on the Governor! I guess if I see a Montana State trooper’s vehicle outside my house, I can assume they are not there because of the bear that is wandering the neighborhood, but rather because Governor Gianforte has issued a mandate against being criticized. Perhaps Gianforte believes his mandates supersede science, public opinion and the First Amendment. Welcome to the Kingdom of Montana where the only good mandate is a Gianforte mandate!
