Both the geography and weather are changing. It was pretty chilly when we broke camp this morning. We are now starting to pull out the next layer of clothing – at least until the sun is out for a while. This morning we had breakfast at a little local diner – Dot’s Place.

Our group of 15 cyclists almost filled the place up. Then it was time to hit the road. About 10 miles down the road we encountered the Blue Whale.

It was an attraction at a swimming hole along Rte 66. Down the road a few more miles we entered Tulsa!

It was a good day for cycling once it warmed up Just a few hills and sometimes a nice tail wind. It was a relatively short 48 mile day so we stopped once at a nice coffee house and didn’t feel compelled to push particularly hard today.
